Easter Vigil
The end of the Lenten journey
…………..helplessness….to be helped by the One
Who freely chose to become my helplessness
…………..to be fastened against my will
……………to descend into Silence…..numb, seeing, feeling nothing
Not even the stick wounds, the blood, no struggle, just submission
To be awakened by the one, who was given to me by
The One……….Lord Jesus Christ
Soon to be Risen, as I am …Redeemed, Renewed in the one’s love and the
One Love….Set me as a seal on your heart….on Your Heart Jesus
Tonight……washed in the water , soul naked, cleansing the grime and the horror. .Welcoming the Light, Lumen Christi…..
Light, darkness no more…….
Lumen Christi…….now to be salt for the world….smile as it is placed in my mouth as a babe cradled in arms.
Peace maker……mission, vocation, calling
Restored to be broken again…given away to us Lord Jesus …to me….in kindness and humility and
Thanksgiving……and Grace …and Love
Your Love, Oh God, that is Eternal….forever and always…….
Like the love of a child…..trusting, helpless…….to be broken again by us, with us, while we remain here on earth…….
Until the One…..Jesus the Lord , who conquered the finality of brokenness and destruction…and makes us whole again!
Easter….in a few hours…..lead us with the joy, and wonder , and crazy gladness of a wee child……..
………………..the Gentle Eyes, the Smile and the Laughter Jesus, calling me ………saying
“ Do not be afraid, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your own name….you are mine…..I regard you as precious…and I love you.” (Isaiah 43:2-7)
I love You Jesus, My Lord, My God My Savoir and My King.
I love with all of my heart the one….given in love , reverenced in love……
And a little child shall lead…….I do know the place now for the first time.
